“Sürdürülebilir Çevre ve Enerji” Projemizin Açılışı Yapıldı
STK’LAR SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR ÇEVRE VE ENERJİ İÇİN GÜÇBİRLİĞİ ÇAĞRISI YAPTI
SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR ÇEVRE VE ENERJİ PROJESİNİN AÇILIŞ TOPLANTISI GERÇEKLEŞTİRİLDİ
Türkiye’de sürdürülebilir çevre ve enerji alanında çalışan sivil toplum kuruluşlarının etkinliğini artırmak amacıyla düzenlenen “Sürdürülebilir Çevre ve Enerji” isimli projenin açılış toplantısı Çevreci Enerji Derneği (ÇED) tarafından İzmir Greymark Otel’de gerçekleştirildi.
Dışişleri Bakanlığı Avrupa Birliği Başkanlığı tarafından Sivil Toplum Destek Programı altında yürütülen “Yerel STK’lar Hibe Programı” kapsamında hibe almaya hak kazanan projenin açılış toplantısına ÇED Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Erman Kaya, ÇED Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Tolga Şallı, Dışişleri Bakanlığı AB Başkanlığı AB işleri Uzmanı Ceyhan Çiçek, Sürdürülebilir Çevre ve Enerji Proje Koordinatörü Hazal Coşkun, Çevre Yüksek Mühendisi Olcay Işın ve Ege Üniversitesi Biyomühendislik Anabilim dalı Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Nuri Azbar konuşmacı olarak katıldı.
Toplantıda konuşan Dışişleri Bakanlığı AB Başkanlığı AB işleri Uzmanı Ceyhan Çiçek, Avrupa Birliği Başkanlığı’nın on beşe yılı aşkın süredir Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği’ndeki sivil toplum kuruluşları arasındaki diyaloğun güçlenmesi ve Türkiye’deki sivil toplumun kapasitesinin geliştirilmesini hedefleyen projelere destek sağladığını söyledi.
“YARINLAR ANCAK YENİLENEBİLİR ENERJİNİN DESTEKLENMESİYLE İNŞA EDİLEBİLİR”
Ülkemizde yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının kullanımının giderek öneminin arttığını kaydeden ÇED Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Erman Kaya, kamuoyunu bilinçlendirmek ve diğer STK’larla da işbirliği içinde olmak istediklerini kaydetti.
Yenilenebilir enerji konusunu insanlara en doğru şekilde anlatabilmek için alanında deneyimli akademisyenlerle birçok raporlamalar yapıldığı bilgisini veren Erman Kaya, yenilenebilir enerjinin çevre ve doğaya zarar vermediğinin kanıtlandığını belirtti.
Kaya, “Ülkemizde rüzgar enerji konusunda 100 bin megawattlık bir üretim potansiyeli bulunuyor. Bunun yalnızca 7 bin 300 megawattı kurulu düzene sahip. Bu konuda yerel yönetimlerle ve STK’larla işbirliği yapılmalıdır. Yarınlar ancak yenilenebilir enerjinin desteklenmesiyle inşa edilebilir.” diye konuştu.
DIŞA BAĞIMLILIĞIN AZALTILMASI GEREK
Dünyanın nüfus artışına paralel olarak enerji ihtiyacının da sürekli olarak arttığını belirten ÇED Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Tolga Şallı, enerji konusunda dışa bağımlılığın azaltılabilmesi için yenilenebilir enerji yatırımlarının önünün açılması gerektiğini vurguladı.
Tolga Şallı, “Dernek olarak birçok üniversite ile işbirliği yaptık. Rüzgar enerjisi, güneş enerjisi, biyogaz hakkında birçok etkinlik düzenledi. Amacımız insanları bilinçlendirerek değişim hareketini başlatmaktı. Tüm dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de alternatif ve çevreci enerji kaynaklarına yönelmemiz ve yaygınlaştırmamız gerekiyor.”
SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR ÇEVRE VE ENERJİ PROJESİ STK’LARIN KAPASİTESİNİ ARTTIRMAYI HEDEFLİYOR
Sürdürülebilir Çevre ve Enerji Proje Koordinatörü Hazal Coşkun, İzmir İl Çevre ve Şehircilik Müdürlüğü’nün iştirakçi olduğu, on iki ay sürecek projede yapılacak eğitimler ve faaliyetlerle çevre ve enerji alanında çalışan sivil toplum kuruluşlarının idari kapasitelerinin artırılmasını ve karar verme süreçlerine daha aktif demokratik katılım sağlamayı amaçladıklarını ifade etti.
