Tuzla’da ‘en büyük’ güneş enerjisi santralı
Tuzla Belediyesi, kamunun ve İstanbul’un en büyük güneş enerjisi santralını kurdu. 4 bin 200 metrekarelik alanda, bin 386 panelden oluşan santralde, 367 kilowattlık elektrik enerjisi üretiliyor.
Üç yılda yatırım bedelini karşılayan güneş enerji santralı, aynı zamanda İstanbul’un kamu alanındaki en büyük güneş enerji santralı (GES) yatırımı unvanını taşıyor. Santralla birlikte 274 ton karbondioksit salınımı engellenmesinin yanı sıra her yıl 25 bin ağacın da yok olup gitmesinin önüne geçiliyor.

Tuzla Belediyesi olarak çevre dostu, karbondioksit salınımını azaltmaya yönelik pek çok projeye imza attıklarına dikkat çeken Tuzla Belediyesi Başkanı Dr. Şadi Yazıcı, “Artık akıllı enerji yönetimi ve çevreye duyarlı alternatif enerji kaynaklarına yönelerek, kendini idame ettiren şehirler, projeler ve hizmetler sunmamız hayati önem taşıyor. Tuzla Belediyesi olarak Şelale Park’ta yaptığımız 4 bin 200 metrekarelik güneş panellerimizle çevreye zarar vermeyen enerjimizi üretiyoruz. Parkımız 367 kilowattlık enerji üretimiyle beraber kendi enerjisini sağlayan dolayısıyla karbon nötr bir parktır. İlerleyen yıllarda Tuzla’daki GES’lerin sayısını artırmayı hedefliyoruz” dedi.
